Another Year Without You
11 years and it still feels new. The days go by and I still miss you. (The start of a poem I’m thinking about writing for you. We’ll see how long it takes me to finish it – lol). Brendan is a world traveler now and is really living and loving life. Lauryn has blossomed into a smart and funny woman. They’re amazing and I am so proud of them. Thank you for watching over them. Thinking of You
Well here I am after 10 years and the loss of you just doesn’t seem any easier. I was telling your dad today that I thought I might be a grandmother if you were still alive. Brendan and Lauryn seem to be taking the same approach as you, in that they are waiting – until they have fulfilled their own lives ambitions – before they start a “family life”. I applaud all of you. That you have foresight enough to know what you want from life is more than most people at your age could even guess at. Brendan is on his bike ride from Canada to San Francisco and he just arrived in Oregon today. Lauryn is working hard as always. I know you are watching over them and I appreciate you keeping them safe. Know that I’m thinking of you. I love you and miss you always. You’ve missed some great leftovers recently. ;)xoxo

Always Thinking About You
I miss you so much. I find myself thinking about you all the time – nothing new there I. I wish you were here to see all the great accomplishments Brendan and Lauryn have made in their lives and to share in it. I know you would be so happy for them. Brendan is in Thailand right now for three months on vacation – although he is finding time for work. Lauryn is doing so well in her new job and I am so proud of her. She didn’t get any time off from her graduation until she started her new job. They both support me on so many levels and I know you would be proud of them for taking care me. I miss you and wish that I could see you in person, so we could talk things over while you eat my leftovers in the refrigerator. I love you.

Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday Adrian. Here’s what’s going on with the Loudergang. Dad and I went to the opening for Brendan’s new office last night. What an amazing atmosphere to work in. I know you would be as proud of him as we are. He is doing great. Starting in March he will be teaching a class on RoR 2 days a week from 7-10. Lauryn is loving SSU and has decided to move off campus for her last year. She just turned 21 and is not only going to school full time but working too. She is working on a project for NASA and hoping for an internship at Brendan’s company this summer. Dad is putting up a good fight against the aches and pains of age and keeps himself busy working around the house, reading and helping out a friend who remodeled his home. I miss you and love you. XOXO

Thinking of you
Do you believe Lauryn making the Dean’s list both semester’s?!!! And she has changed her Major to Comp Sci – with her two bro’s so in tune how could she not – with a Minor in Art. I never doubted she would carry the Loudermilk art gene. Brendan is doing so great. I’m proud that he is following his heart and not the almighty dollar.I know you are proud of both of them and I’m sure you saw Brendan when he was hanging out last weekend. I miss you so much, as if it were just yesterday.

Birthday
Happy Birthday Adrian. Brendan and Lauryn are doing great. Brendan is now a boss at the company he is working for and went to Thailand for Christmas. His own company is doing well too. Lauryn is at Sonoma State University and doing excellent. She finally took an art class this semester and I’m so glad that she is putting the Loudermilk “art gene” to work. You would be so proud of both of them. Dad and I are still living in Costa Rica. He spends his days working on the house but then what’s new about that.I love you and will miss you forever.

Adrain used to have this crazy forrest scene painted on his bathroom wall. One Saturday night I went over and Adrian let me paint on it. I painted mermaids. Adrian did not help — he just sat back with a glass of wine and watched me paint. “Your mermaid is startled” he said. Do you think that was a euphemism? What a great time.
