   1971 Airline Training SFO

   I was so sorry to hear that My friend from way back 1971 had passed.
   I found out through watching Girlfriends her brother gave a memory to her. We were friends in airline training in 1971 San Francisco. Cyd was a fun, smart, true friend. Cyd came to visit me in NY 1974. Afterward we lost contact. May God continue to keep her family in piece.💝🙏🙏

   I'm here daughter

   My mother was the greatest smartest woman I have ever known. People called my mother a walking encyclopedia she knew a little of everything and everyone loved her she was so funny and loved history. Growing to a gay woman was hard but I appreciated every moment and I’m glad the gay community has come this far she would have been proud and happy.

   I saw Cyd’s name in an “in memory of” dedication on an episode of Girlfriends (season 5 episode 10). It made me wonder who she was and how she lived. anyone got any memories they want to share?
