Thank you, Clifton
Dear Clifton,I’ve enjoyed watching you as you acted the role of Bonedust on the Our Gang comedy shorts. Even though you sometimes played naughty parts as Bonedust, I think you were so cute with your smile and expressions. You were great as a child actor.
Also, I have enjoyed seeing the character you played as Baker in the Dark Passage movie of 1947. Again, you proved yourself to be a great actor as an adult.
Your untimely death in 1951 was truly a tragedy. The painful divorce you suffered through during those final weeks of your life must have been a very difficult experience for you.
If I could have spent some time with you, Clifton, especially when you were hurting, I would have loved to have shared with you my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and the difference He has made in my life to encourage you and, hopefully, to have led you to a personal knowledge of Jesus as your Savior.
Clifton, I do hope you are in heaven now.
I love you, Clifton, and will always remember the contribution you made as an actor to the world of cinema from the 1920’s through 1951.
Sincerely, SteveSteve Boyd
