  1. Grandma Hansen

It took me some time to be able to do this, I wanted to talk at the funeral, but I was in shock for looking for the first time someone so close to me. Despite her last year, she was a beacon of energy at such a late age. She made it into the New Mellenium, the 21st Centuey, the High Tech Age, and even the second Bush Years here at the begenning half of the 10s. She saw the light of the new age of humankind, and she smiled about it, all the time. I would go so far as to buy her cyber mystery novels, she read them. I put a computer, Xspasia, in her room, and gave her an e mail address, it was xadlihx@aol.com. Adlih is what her siblings called her as a joke, (Hilda spelled backwards) which she choose as her account name. She sent a fer emails, serfed the net a little, she could type using wordprosessors, I even put her into a full emersion Virtual Reality HMD with a hand interface, twice. I also got her to play a few video games and watch some Star Trek the Next Generation. She was always interested in the news. I remember when I lived up north and had MSNBC and the Fox News Channel early, I taped them and sent it to her before it hit LA, so she got to see the new “History in your face standard” of news.
The day I decided to add my third major, History (my earliest childhood passion) so late in my college years, not an easy task, I called her collect , so excited, from a payphone, and said what should I do, she said go for it!
She even listened to the Industrial Electronica radio show I DJed. She was the most supportive member of the family when it came to my alternative and bizarre lifestyles. She tried to understand it. She even bought severl books and read whatever articled she could find about my “types of personage.” Not just school and my lifestyles, but she was also supportive of my art and acting. Ihe was happy when I choose to become an actor, move back to Los Angeles, marry an actress and have perfect Hollywood actor children. In short she wanted me to follow my dreams.
She tought me so much about a generation from so long ago, WW1, the 20s, 30s, WW2, and much more
She was a democrat until I turned her and she became a Rebublican ****the rest of this letter follows and was sent just prior to this rewrite****

  5. Thank You!

My dear mother-in-law was such a wonderful, spirited and classy lady. I was so fortunate to know her and enjoy her humor and love. She stayed with us on many occasions and would enjoy whatever we decided to do – basketball (she loved Shaq), games which she caught on so quickly, going to Las Vegas and just thoroughly enjoyed life. We became very close friends and I, including my own family, will dearly miss her. She touched everyone’s life that she met.
