  1. ... A True Friend ...

    Life isn’t about keeping score!
It’s not about how many friend we have or how accepted we are.
Not about if we have plans this weekend or if we’re alone.
It isn’t about who we’re dating, who we used to date, how many people we’ve dated, or if we haven’t been with anyone at all.
It isn’t about who our families are or how much money they have
or what kind of car we drive or where we went to school.
It’s not about how beautiful or ugly we are or what clothes we wear, what shoes we have on,
or what kind of music we listen to.
It’s not about if our hair is blonde, red, black, or brown
or if our skin is too light or too dark.
Not about what grades we get, how smart we are, how smart everybody else thinks we are, or how smart standardized tests say we are.
LIFE JUST ISN’T ABOUT ANY OF THAT !!!!!!!
But, life IS about who we love
    and who (unfortunately) we hurt.
It’s about regarding friendship as a sacred thing!
It’s about the good things we say and mean.
It’s about who we’ve helped become a better person.
It’s about sharing love, letting it grow, and spreading it.
    But most of all,
it’s about using our lives to touch another person’s heart
in such a way that could have never occurred alone.
Only we choose the way those hearts are affected, and those choices are what life’s all about.
It’s about who we make happy.
“ONCE IN A WHILE WE MEET SOMEONE, AND VERY SOON WE BOTH DISCOVER THAT THE TWO OF US ARE TRULY SOMETHING SPECIAL TO EACH OTHER. WE SHARE OUR THOUGHTS AND FEELING IN SUCH A RELAXED WAY AND SO OPENLY, THAT RIGHT AWAY WE KNOW OUR FRIENDSHIP IS TRULY MEANT TO BE.”
Thank you, “Tank”! You will always be … A TRUE FRIEND!

  2. Until we Meet Again

The thing I remember most about Jim was his smile. He always had one ready at all times, and had such a hunger for living, loving, and laughing (and eating LOL). I remember him being generous to a fault. I remember him spoiling Andrew, as well he should 🙂 I remember watching them both and how good they were with each other. I am grateful that I could have the privilige and honor of knowing this man, and my life is richer and more rounded because of it. I know that he is still with us, but I wish him peace and a safe journey as he continues onward. I am saddened, but as we all know, life must continue for us as well, and Jim would never want anybody to be sad for too long. I love you Jim, and I will never, ever forget you.

  3. Goodbye Dear Friend, "Daddy Jim"

Well it is time to say goodbye to this world and on to the next life. Until we meet again, old friend I will be thinking of you alot. I will rememeber the few lessons you taught me about becoming a good HAB Triad remember and how I should never forget friends I have made and friends that are to come. I believe as you believed in putting the past behind you but thinking of the new situations that we get ourselves into. Good Luck Friend and “DADDY” MISS YOU ALOT, CHRISTOPHER.

  4. Memories of Jim

From the moment we met, working at the same hospital, you were always here for me. Truly, the world (and my world) is a better place because of you. I miss you and will always cherish your zest for life.
