Rudolph Valentino in The Son of the Sheik
August 23 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

In honor of the 100th anniversary of Rudolph Valentino’s death, as well as the 100th anniversary of his last film, Hollywood Forever is proud to present the Los Angeles premiere of the Cohen Film Collection’s restoration of The Son of the Sheik, accompanied by a recorded orchestral score by renowned composer and conductor, Carl Davis. The Son of the Sheik, Valentino’s iconic and final film, is part of the National Film Registry and is a signature showcase of “The Great Lover” of early Hollywood.
The film screening will take place in Hollywood Forever’s Masonic Lodge. Please note that the Masonic Lodge is on the second floor of our historic building, and there is no elevator.
Doors will open at 5:00pm and guests will have the opportunity to view a special exhibition featuring original posters, lobby cards, and other rare memorabilia from the film. Both events are free and open to the public. Seating and attendance are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
For nearly a century, admirers, historians, family members, and members of the public have gathered to honor the enduring legacy of one of cinema’s first international superstars. Come be a part of this year’s Rudolph Valentino Memorial celebration.
