98th Annual Valentino Memorial Service

The 98^th Annual Valentino Memorial Service, Saturday, August 23^rd at Noon will NOW BE HELD IN OUR MAIN CHAPEL,  due to the extreme heat expected.

Throughout generations, the legacy of Rudolph Valentino continues to thrive. This year’s memorial will celebrate the 100^th anniversary of his film, “The Eagle”, plus we will get to know a bit more about June Mathis, a pioneering and influential film executive who helped launch Valentino into stardom. Author, Thomas J. Slater, will speak on his new book about Ms. Mathis, and be on hand after the memorial for a book signing. We will also learn about the Los Angeles Breakfast Club, of which Valentino was a founding member. 2025 marks their 100^th anniversary, and Rachel Skytt will share a bit about its history and its present day activities.
